Back in the groove

It felt really good to work out tonight. I did 32 minutes of aerobics, and beat the free-step. Now that I know I don't have to maintain the cadence on that Wii Fit workout, I can do it at my own pace. Which is, incidentally, more than 100 steps per minute.

We watched a show on PBS last night about a diet to reverse diabetes. None of us has a problem with diabetes, but it surely wouldn't hurt to cut out sugar and cut way back on dairy (but I'm not giving up my cheese).

David ordered Wii Fit Plus for me for my birthday. I've had so many people tell me to try it. I'm excited to get started. That trainer on the Wii Fit Boxing is starting to piss me off. :)

It's On!

Lauren sent me an IM last night asking whether I wanted to get together and add a little competition to our weight loss goals. Sounds like a great plan. Especially since I've got a head start.

The goal is to be down to 125lbs in 15 weeks.

If you're interested in joining the team, just reply and add your name. We'll post progress notes and such, and I'll locate some interesting rewards for hitting milestones.
